NB - The resort have informed us of beach erosion at Cinnamon Resort Alidhoo Island. Due to ocean currents, the beach keeps moving to different parts of the island every few months. As a result of this the lagoon is currently not suitable for snorkeling and swimming. There is a section of beach near the pool area, but they plan to enhance this in due course. Until then, the resort will arrange free boat trips to a neighbouring island for guests to relax on the beach, snorkel and swim in the shallow lagoon. The trips operate twice a day - 10.30h to 12.30h and 15.00h to 17.30h. If guests wish to spend the entire day at the island we offer them a picnic lunch as well. In addition, beach towels and bottled drinking water is provided free of charge.
