Lhaviyani Atoll Komandoo Island
It takes 45 minutes by seaplane or 4-5 hours by speedboat to reach Komandoo from the airport. Clients who arrive by late night flights stay overnight in a city hotel, as seaplanes do not operate after sundown. They will be transferred the next morning with the first available flight. Clients departing by evening flight will be provided a transfer as late as possible. Check-out from the resort is at 1200 hrs. It is recommended to take a day use room in Male' up to the time of the International departure flight.

Komandoo is located at the top of the Lhaviyani Atoll, about 130 kilometers north of Male' International Airport. The transfer is a scenic 40 minute seaplane flight over the North Male' and Lhaviyani Atolls. This offers breathtaking views of reefs and lagoons and their multiple shades of blue and aquamarine, before bringing you to the landing platform at Komandoo. |
